Correct Question is attached in image.

To find:

Value of horizantal range (BC) ?

Calculation:

Let the velocity of Projection be u_(x) = 20 m/s

Now, since the object was thrown horizantally as represented in the image, we can say that : vertical component of initial velocity u_(y) = 0 m/s.

 \therefore \: h =  u_{y}t +  \dfrac{1}{2} g {t}^{2}

 \implies \: 20 =  (0)t +  \dfrac{1}{2} (10) {t}^{2}

 \implies \: 20 =  5 {t}^{2}

 \implies  \: {t}^{2}  = 4

 \implies  \: t = 2 \: sec

Now , let range be R :

 \therefore \: R =  u_{x} \times t

 \implies\: R =  20 \times 2

 \implies\: R =  40 \: metres

So, range of Projectile will be 40 metres.
