Given that,
- Velocity = 49 m/s
- Angle with horizontal = 30°
- Velocity after 2 seconds = ?
As we know,
⇒ U(y) = 49*sin30° = 49/2
⇒ U (x) = 49 *cos 30°
⇒ 49√3/2
For total time of flight…
- S(y) = 0
- A(y) = -10
- U(y) = 49/2
- t = ?
⇒ 0=49/2*t - 1/2*10*t^2
⇒ 49/2 * t= 5t^2
⇒ t = 49/10s
Now for range
S(x)=?
U(x)= 49*√3/2
t = 49/10s
Range = S(x)=u(x)*t
⇒ 49*√3/2*49/10
⇒ 207.93
⇒ ~208m approx.
