Given that,

  • Velocity = 49 m/s
  • Angle with horizontal = 30°
  • Velocity after 2 seconds = ?

As we know,

⇒ U(y) = 49*sin30°  = 49/2

⇒ U (x) = 49 *cos 30°

⇒ 49√3/2

For total time of flight…

  • S(y) = 0
  • A(y) = -10
  • U(y) = 49/2
  • t = ?

⇒ 0=49/2*t - 1/2*10*t^2

⇒ 49/2 * t= 5t^2

⇒ t = 49/10s

Now for range

S(x)=?

U(x)= 49*√3/2

t = 49/10s

Range = S(x)=u(x)*t

⇒  49*√3/2*49/10

⇒  207.93

⇒ ~208m approx.
