Step-by-step explanation:

INCREASED PRISE = 60000 - 40000

SO INSRESEND PERCENTAGE = 20000/60000×100

= 33.33%

Given :-

Original price of property :- ₹40000

Price after 5 years :- ₹60000

\:

To Find :-

Percentage of increased value

\:

Formula required :-

{\tt \large \dashrightarrow \orange{\boxed{\tt \gray{\dfrac{Change \: in \: value}{Original \: value} \times 100}}}}

\:

How to do :-

Here, we are given that the price of property changed from one price to other ib five years. Here, the new price is greater than the original price. So, there is increase in value. First, we should subtract the new price and the original price and then we can use the given formula for calculating the change in percentage form. To calculate any percentage we should use the same formula.

\:

Solution :-

Change in value :-

{\tt \leadsto 60000 - 40000}

{\tt \leadsto Rs \: \: 20000}

Now,

Percentage of changes :-

{\tt \leadsto \dfrac{20000}{40000} \times 100}

{\tt \leadsto \dfrac{20000}{\cancel{40000}} \times \cancel{100} = \dfrac{20000}{400}}

{\tt \leadsto \cancel \dfrac{20000}{400} = \boxed{\tt 200 \bf\%}}

\Huge\therefore The change in value of property is 20%.
