A proton accelerated from rest through potential difference V Volts has a wavelenght I associated with it . An alpha particle in order to have same wavelength must be accelerated from rest through how much potential difference?​

λ=h2(4m)(2e)V′−−−−−−−−−−√-------(ii)

Equating equation (i) & (ii) we have

2meV=2(4m)(2e)V′

So V′=V8.
