Answer: Mean Score=7

He needs to score 16 in his seventh test.

Step-by-step explanation:

let his test be x

Mean = {x1 + x2 + x3 + x4 + x5}/5

= 8 (given)

Therefore, x1 + x2 +x3 + x4 +x5 = 40

In his sixth test he scores 2 x6 =2

x1 + x2 + x3 + x4 + x5 + 2 = 40 +2

= 42

New mean = 42/6 = 7 Ans.

Now

Score he needs to get back mean to 8 in his x7 test

Mean = 8

{x1 + x2 + x3+ x4 + x5 + x6 + x7 }/7= 8

x1+ x2+x3+x4+x5+x6+x7 = 56

We know (x1+......+x6) = 42

Therefore, x7 = 56-42 = 16 Ans.

Hope it will help u Thanx
