Heres your answer.....

Neurons can have myelinated or unmyelinated axons. The only difference between those two types of neurons is the speed of conduction. The neurons with myelinated axons have faster conduction speed since the myelin sheath acts as insulator that helps propagate the electrical signal faster.

Explanation:

The main difference between myelinated and unmyelinated nerve fibers is that myelinated nerve fibers contain a myelin insulation whereas unmyelinated nerve fibers do not contain a myeline insulation. The myelin sheath is made up of lipids and proteins
