x = 4t + 0.8t³

This is the displacement equation.

To get the velocity function, we get the first derivative of the displacement function.

To get the acceleration function we get the second derivative of the displacement function.

Hence :

Velocity function :

= d/dx of x :

= 4 + 2.4t²

The acceleration function :

= d²/dx²

= 4.8t
