A race track is in the form of a ring whose inner circumference is 528m and the other circumference is 616m. Find the width of the track?

Here's ur answer:-

Circumference of big circle = 616 cm
=> 2πr = 616

=> πr = 308

=> r = 308 × 7/22 = 14 × 7 = 98

Circumference of small circle = 528

=> 2πr = 528

=> πr = 264

=> r = 264 × 7/22 = 12 × 7 = 84

So, width of the track =

Radius of big circle - radius of small circle

= 98 - 84 = 14 m

So , the width of track is 14 m
