Answer:

Given :-

  • A racing car has a uniform acceleration of 4 m/s².

To Find :-

  • What is the distance will it covers in 10 seconds after it start.

Formula Used :-

\clubsuit Second Equation Of Motion Formula :

\bigstar \: \: \sf\boxed{\bold{\pink{s =\: ut + \dfrac{1}{2} at^2}}}\: \: \: \bigstar\\

where,

  • s = Distance Covered
  • u = Initial Velocity
  • t = Time Taken
  • a = Acceleration

Solution :-

Given :

  • Acceleration = 4 m/
  • Initial Velocity = 0 m/s
  • Time Taken = 10 seconds

According to the question by using the formula we get,

\implies \bf s =\: ut + \dfrac{1}{2} at^2

\implies \sf s =\: (0)(10) + \dfrac{1}{2} \times (4)(10)^2\\

\implies \sf s =\: 0 \times 10 + \dfrac{1}{2} \times (4 \times 10 \times 10)

\implies \sf s =\: 0 + \dfrac{1}{2} \times 400

\implies \sf s =\: 0 + 200

\implies \sf\bold{\red{s =\: 200\: m}}

\therefore The distance travelled by the racing car is 200 m .
