Answer:

Distance = Speed × Time

2. 1 km/hr = 518 m/s

3. If the ratios of speed is a : b : c, then the ratios of time taken is : 1a:1b:1c

Answer:

3 Km

Step-by-step explanation:

As speed = DIST / TIME

Let x be the time of her school so by equation

4kmph = DIST / (x+5)

I.e 4(x+5) = d …….(1)

As she was late 5 mins hence x+5

For 2nd case

6 KMPH= DIST / (x-10)

I.e 6(x-10)=d……(2)

As LHS are equal , hence

4(x+5)=6(x-10)

4x+20=6x-60

80=2x

X= 40 min

So for 4kmph it's x+5 i.e 45 min

Therefore , 4(45/60)= d

Which is 3 Km…!!
