A rational number when multiplied by 3/2 and subtracted from 5/12 gives -6/7. Find the rational number. plz answer I will mark u as brainliest ​

Let the required rational number be x

and then according to the question,

5/12-3x/2=-6/7

on solving it we will get the rational number =

107/126

5/12 - 3x/2 = -6/7
(5-18x)/12 = -6/7
7(5 - 18x) = -6*12
35 a 126x = -72
35+72 = 126x
107 = 126x
so x = 107/126
