A ray of light strikes a glass plate at an angle of 60° with the glass surface. If the reflected and refracted rays are at right angles to each other.

The angle of refraction = 33°

The angle of incidence = 57°

The refractive index of the glass will be

We know that,

\Large{\implies{\boxed{\boxed{\sf{n = \frac{Sin \: i}{Sin \: r}}}}}}

\sf{n = \frac{0.838}{0.544}} \\ \\ \sf{→n = \frac{838}{544}} \\ \\ \sf{→n = 1.558}
