which are 5m wide, running at right angles to each other . One is along the length and
the other along the breadth. Find the area of the road.

=(750*450)m^2

=337500m^2

area of the road parallel to the length =(750*5)m^2

=3750m^2

area of the road parallel to the breadth =(450*5)m^2

=2250m^2

area of the shaded portion=(5*5)m^2

=25m^2

area of the road =(3750+2250-25)m^2

=5975m^2
