The new lenght is Area of rectangular garden = 160sq cm
Area of path of X m width=120 Sq cm
total area of new rectangle= 280sq cm
length & breadth of outer rectangle are (16+2x) & (10+2x)
=(16+2x) * (10+2x) = 280
=(16+2x) * (10+2x) = 20*14
from the above equation value of X= 2
New length=20
New breadth=14
Area of path of X m width=120 Sq cm
total area of new rectangle= 280sq cm
length & breadth of outer rectangle are (16+2x) & (10+2x)
=(16+2x) * (10+2x) = 280
=(16+2x) * (10+2x) = 20*14
