A real image formed by a concave mirror is magnified three times and is formed at a distance of 16 cm
from the object. Find the distance of the object from the mirror:
1)8 cm
2) 16 cm
3) 4 cm
4) 32 cm​

Given

Concave mirror

m=-3 cm

v=-16 cm

Using Mirror formula

 \frac{1}{f}  =  \frac{1}{u}  +  \frac{1}{v}

And using Magnification formula

 \frac{ - v}{u}  = m

u \: =  \frac{ - 16}{3}

So I get this
