A real, inverted and equal in size image is formed by the concave mirror.

• There are three main types of the mirror -

1) plane mirror.

2) concave mirror.

3) convex mirror.

• Now, a plane mirror can form an real image of equal size but non-inverted.

• A convex mirror will produce a virtual and smaller image.

• Only,a concave mirror can produce real image of same size and inverted when the main object is situated in front of the centre of the curvature of that mirror.
