Answer:Let ‘x’be the original quantity of a mixture in litres with juice and water in the ratio of 4:3. Therefore, the quantity of juice is 4x and water 3x.

Now 6 litres of water is added, and the quantity of Juice and water becomes 4x and 3x + 6

Now the ratio of (4x):(3x + 6) = 8:7

28x = 24x + 48 Or 4x = 48 Or x = 12

Hence , the amount of Juice in the original mixture is 4x = 4*12 = 48 litres
