To Find:-

  • The area of remaining part .....(?)

Given:-

  • Length of the rectangle = 25m
  • Breadth of the rectangle = 16m
  • 3.5m has been cut

Solution:-

Let's first find the area of the rectangle

Formula:-

 \boxed{ \sf{Area \: of \: rectangle = Lenght \times Breadth}}

∴ 25m × 16m

= 400m²

Now, the area of 4 quadrants

We know that, 4 quadrants = 1 circle

Formula of Area of circle:-

Area of circle = πr² ......( π = 22/7 )

∴ Area = π( 3.5 )²

 =  \dfrac{22}{7} \times 12.25

 = 22 \times 1.75

 = 38.5 {m}^{2}

Now, Let's find the Remaining area:-

Remaining area = 400 - 38.5

= 361.5 m²

Required Answer:-

  • The area of the remaining part is 316.5 m²
