A rectangle and a square are equal in area. The side of the square is 24 m. If the length of the rectangle is 36 m, find the breadth of the rectangle.

=)24*24
=)576 square cm
area of square =area of rectangle
area of rectangle=576 sq cm
                   L*B =576
                  36*B=576
                       B=576/36
                       B=96/6
                       B=16cm

Area of a square = side * side
=24 * 24 = 576m square
Area of square =area of rectangle
Area of rectangle =576m square
Length =36m
Breadth = area / lenght
= 576/36
=16m
