suppose width of rectangle is b.
given
length l=6m
and perimeter of rectangle=80m
then...
the perimeter of rectangle =2(length+width)
2(l+b)=80
2(6+b)=80
12+2b=80
2b=80-12
2b=68
b=68/2
b=34m

\Large{\textbf{\underline{\underline{According\:to\:the\:Question}}}}

Assumption

Breadth of rectangle = p

Hence,

Length = (p + 6)

As we know that,

{\boxed{\sf\:{Perimeter\;of\;rectangle\;= 2(l\;+\;b)}}}

Hence,

80 = 2(p + 6 + p)

80 = 2(2p + 6)

80 = 4p + 12

4p = 80 - 12

4p = 68

\tt{\rightarrow p=\dfrac{68}{4}}

p = 17

Now,

Dimension :-

Breadth = p = 17

Also

Length = p + 6 = 17 + 6 = 23 m

Now,

Area of rectangle = l × b

= 23 × 17

= 391 m²

\Large{\boxed{\sf\:{Area\;of\;Rectangle=391 m^2}}}
