Answer:

BREADTH IS 16 AND THE PERIMETEROF THE RECTANGLE IS 104 AND THE SQUARE IS 96

Step-by-step explanation:

24 * 24 IS THE AREA OF THE SQUARE

WHICH IS EQUAL TO THE AREA OF A RECTANGLE WHOSE LENGTH IS 36 METRE AND BREADTH SAY X

SO,

  24 * 24 = 36X

   576 = 36X

   576/36 = X

   16 = X

AND THE PERIMETER OF THE RECTANGE IS 2[L+B]

SO,

    2 *[36+16] = 104

AND THE PERIMETER OF SQUARE IS 4*SIDE

 4 * 24 = 96

Answer:

Hi mate ....

(i)Given ; Area of Rectangle = Area of Square

Area of Square = Side×Side

Given ; side of Square = 24 m

Area of Square = 24×24= 576 m sq.

Area of Rectangle= 576 m sq.

Area of Rectangle= l×b

Given ; Length of Rectangle = 36 m

Breadth = 576÷36 = 16 m

(ii) Perimeter of Square= 4side

Perimeter of Square= 24×4 = 96 m

Perimeter of Rectangle=2(l+B)

Length=36 m

Breadth= 16 m

Perimeter = 2(36+16)

= 2(52)

=104m

Perimeter of Rectangle is more

Hope this helps
