A rectangle has a perimeter of 96 cm. Its length is twice its breadth. Find its dimensions.

so the rectangle s perimeter is 96cm
its length is twice its breadth
let length =2x and breadth =X
2(l+b) =96
2(2x+X)=96
2(3x)=96
6x=96
therefore X = 96/6
X=16
therefore length =2x =16*2=32cm
breadth =X =16cm
