Hey  \:  \: there  \:
Let. ⊡ABCD Be the rectangle

Given that -

Length , l = 6cm

Breadth , b = ?

Diagonal , d = 10cm

its clear from above data that we need to find its breadth
so ,

using Pythagoras theorem , that is

a² = b² + c²

Let in ⊿ACD , AD = a²

CD = b²

AC = c²

putting all the given value to get -

AC² + CD² = AD²

10² = AC² + 6²

AC = √ 100 - 36

AC = √64

AC = 8

Hence AC or Breadth of the rectangle = 8cm
