Let the length be a
Area = 40
=> Length× Width= 40
=> a ×5 = 40
=> a = 8
Length of rectangle= 8 cm
Height of triangle= 8 cm
Area of triangle= Base × Height/ 2
= 8 × 18 /2
= 8 × 9
= 72 cm^2
Area = 40
=> Length× Width= 40
=> a ×5 = 40
=> a = 8
Length of rectangle= 8 cm
Height of triangle= 8 cm
Area of triangle= Base × Height/ 2
= 8 × 18 /2
= 8 × 9
= 72 cm^2

Area of rectangle = 40 cm^2
Given, breadth = 5 cm....
Area = l*b = 40
So, l is 8 cm....
Now, this is equal to h of triangle....
So, h = 8 cm....
Base = 18 cm...
Area of triangle
= 1/2 * b * h
= 1/2 * 18 * 8
= 72 cm^2.....
Hope this helps U
