a rectangle has its area equal to that of a square of side 80 cm. If the breadth of the rectangle is 20cm, find its length.

Answer:

SIDE OF SQUARE=80 cm

BREADTH OF RECTANGLE=20 cm

       AS AREA OF SQUARE = AREA OF RECTANGLE

      THEREFORE

                     SIDE*SIDE=LENGTH*BREADTH

                     80*80=LEANGTH*20

                       LENGTH=6400/20

                       LENGTH=320 CM
