A rectangle having length 12 cm and breadth 6 cm is cut in the middle to form 2 squares. what is the difference between the perimeter of the rectangle and the sum of perimeters of two squares formed? ​

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)

= 2 (12+6)

= 2 (18)

= 36

Perimeter of square = perimeter of rectangle + 6

Hence the answer is 6
