Answer:

40 cm ; 4 cm.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the width of the rectangle be a. So, as length is 10 times of the width it should be 10 times of a, length of the rectangle is 10a.

  Here,

      Perimeter = 88 cm

 2( length + width ) = 88 cm

   length + width = 44 cm

   10a + a = 44 cm

   11a = 44 cm

   a = 4 cm

    Thus,

           Width of the rectangle is 4 cm and length is 10a or 10( 4 cm ) or 40 cm.

here \: is \: your \: answer \\ let \: the \: breadth \: be \: x \\ now \: perimeter \: of \: rectangle \:  = 2(l + b) \\ now \: length \:  = 10x \: and \: breadth \:  = x \\ so \\  = 2(10x + x) = 88 \\  = 20x + 2x = 88 \\ 22x = 88 \\  = x =  \frac{88}{22}  \\ x = 4 \\ hence \: breadth \: (width) = 4 \: and \: length \:  = 10 \times 4 = 40 \\ hope \: it \: helped \\ plz \: mark \: as \: brianliest \\  \\  \\  \\  \\ stay \: home \: stay \: safe
