If you need maximum area the length and breadth if the rectangle should be maximum.

the maximum length will be equal to the diameter i.e., twice the radius

the maximum breadth can be the radius of the semicircle i.e., the radius

maximum area=l×b=2r×r=3r^2=3(5)^2=3×25=75.

I hope that it's clear enough!
