A rectangle measures 8cm on its length it's diagonal is 10cm.what is the perimeter of the rectangle.explain this in process​

diagonal square = sum of the squares of the sides(I)

let diagonal be c and sides a and b

a= 8cm and c=10 cm (given in question)

then perimeter= 2(a+b)

C2=A2+b2 from (I)

c= sqrt of A2+b2

or , b = sqrt of c2-a2

= sqrt of 100-64

= sqrt of 36

b= 6

now p=2(a+b)

p= 2(8+6)

=2*14

=28 cm
