Step-by-step explanation:

The length of the rectangle= 5x+2

The breadth of the rectangle=3x

The perimeter of the rectangle=68

(the perimeter of the rectangle=2(length×breadth)

2(5x+2+3x)=68

2 (8x+2)=68

8x+2=68÷2

8x+2=34

8x=34-2

8x=32

x=32÷8

x=4

The length of the rectangle=5(4)+2

=20+2

=22

The breadth of the rectangle=3(4)

=12
