\huge{\mathbb{ANSWER:-}}

Volume of rectangular carton = Length × Breadth × Height

Volume of rectangular carton = (5 × 10 × 25)cm³

Volume of rectangular carton = 1250 cm³

We know that:-

1000 {cm}^{3}  = 1litre

Therefore:-

1250 {cm}^{3}  =  \frac{1250}{1000}  litre  = 1.25litre

Hence:-

Capacity of rectangular carton = 1.25 litre

Space left in rectangular carton = Capacity of rectangular carton - Capacity of milk in it

Space left in rectangular carton = (1.25 - 1) litres

Space left in rectangular carton = 0.25 litres

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀OR

Space left in rectangular carton = 250 cm³⠀...(because 1000cm³= 1litre)

Space left in rectangular carton = 250 cm³
