Given ,

l = 120 cm

b = 25 cm

Let h be x cm.

Capacity of the container (60%) = 108 litres = 1

$108000 {cm}^{3}$

$(1 \: litre \: = 1000 \: cm ^{3} )$

Capacity of container (100%)= l×b×h cu. units

Then ,

60% of l×b×h = 108000

$= > 60 \div 100 \times 120 \times 25 \times x = 108000 \\ = > x = 108000 \times 1 \div 120 \times 100 \div 60 \times 1 \div 25 \\ = > x = 60$

Hence the height of the container is 60 cm
