A rectangular courtyard is 12m70cm land and 6m 20cm broad.It is to be paved with square tiles of the same size.Find the least possible number of such tiles.

Length is 12m70cm = 1270 cm

Breadth is 6m20cm = 620 cm

Area of the courtyard

= l×b

= 1270 × 620

= 787,400 cm²
