Increase in volume=Volume of cube=(16×16×16)cm3

Rise in water level=volume/area=16×16×16/25×16=4096/400=10.24cm

I hope it will help you....

Answer:

10.24 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Length of edge of cube = 16 cm

Volume of cube = Side^3 = 16^3 =4096 cm^3

Length of vessel = 25 cm

Breadth of vessel = 16 cm

Area of vessel = Length \times Breadth = 25 \times 16 = 400 cm^2

Now the rise in water level = Volume of cube immersed / Area of vessel

So, Rise = \frac{4096}{400}

Rise = 10.24 cm

Hence The rise in water level is 10.24 cm
