A rectangular field has 80 m and 48 m breadth threee roads each of width 2 m pass thorgh the field such that roads are prallel to the breadth and the third road parallel to the length find the area co erd by the tbreee roads

Area of field = 80×48=3840 Sq. m
Area covered by 3 roads = area of field - area of remaining part ( roads excluded)
= (3840) - 4×(23×39)
= 3840 - 3588
= 252 Sq .m
