Lenght= 80m

Breadth=60m

We know that,

PERIMETER OF RECT. = 2(L+B)

=2(80+60)

=2(140)

=280m

Wire needed for one layer = Perimeter of the ground (280m)

Wire needed for= 280x3

3 layers.

=840m

840 m wire is needed to fence it if three layers of wires are to be used for the fence

Step-by-step explanation:

Length of field = 80 m

Breadth of field = 60 m

Perimeter of filed = 2(l+b)=2(80+60)=280 m

Length of wire used for 1 layer of wire = 280 m

Length of wire used for 3 layer of wire = 280 \times 3 =840 m

Hence 840 m wire is needed to fence it if three layers of wires are to be used for the fence
