\bigstar\:\:\rm\red{GIVEN}\:\:\bigstar

  • A Rectangular field has length of 160m and 120m.

\bigstar\:\:\rm\red{TO\:FIND}\:\:\bigstar

  • The Perimeter of the field

  • The length if fence required to enclose the field.

  • The cost of fencing at the rate of 80.

\bigstar\:\:\rm\red{FORMULA\:USED}\:\:\bigstar

  • {\boxed{\bf{\blue{Perimeter=2(L+B)}}}}}

Now,

\implies\rm\blue{2(L+B)}

\implies\rm\blue{2(160+120)}

\implies\rm\blue{2\cancel{280}}

\implies\rm\blue{560m^{2}}

Hence,The Permeter of the field is 560m².

ii) The length of fence required = Total Perimeter of field.

iii) Cost of fencing the field at per m²=80

Cost of fencing the field of perimeter 560m²=80×560=₹44, 800.

  • Perimeter of square = 4× Side

  • Area of Square= Side× Side.

  • Area of Parallelogram= Base×Height.

▪ A rectangular field has length = 160 m and breadth = 120 m

Find:-

( i ) The perimeter of the field

( ii ) The length of fence required to enclose the field

( iii ) The cost of fencing the field at the rate of Rs.80 per metre.
