Lenth of rect.=110m

Width of rect.=55m

Width of 1st road ll to length=2.5m

Width of 2nd road ll to breadth=3m

Area of 1st road=2.5*110=275sq.m

Area of 2nd road=3*55=165sq.m

Area of roads crossing each other=2.5*3=7.5sq.m

Area of roads=275+165-7.5=440-7.5=432.5sq.m

Answer:

432.5m²

Step-by-step explanation:

length of rectangle = 110 m

width=55m

widh of 1st road parallel to length=2.5

width of 2nd road parallel to breadth=3m

Area of first road=2.5×110=275m²

Area of second road=3×55=165m²

Area of roads crossing each other=2.5×3=7.5m²

Area of roads=275+165-7.5=432.5m² ANS
