Length of rectangular field=112 mWidth of rectangular field=100 m.1). Area of cross road=5×112+5×100−5×5=560+500−25=1035 m2 .2). Area of remaining field=Area of rectangular field−Area of cross road=112×100−1035=11200−1035=10165 m2 .3). Assuming cost is & 25 per sq. m . Cost of laying grass in remaining field=25×Area of remaining field=25×10165=& 254125 .If cost is & 25 per sq. cm , then answer is25×101650000=& 2541250000 .
