A rectangular field is 12m in length and 9m in width. A path of width 1m is constructed outside it adjacent to the side covering the field. Find the area of the path.

Area of path=Area of rectangle EFGH-Area of field

or, (11m×14m)-(9m×12m)

so, 154m²-108m²



Ans:46 m²
