Distance covered by Raman = 2 ( 42 + 32 ) × 2

First we will have to find the perimeter of the rectangle as followed

Perimeter of rectangle = 2 (l + b)
= 2 (42 + 32)
= 2( 74 )
= 2×74
= 148 metre

so as he ran twice so multiply the perimeter by 2

hence
= 148× 2
= 296 metre

Therefore total distance covered is 296 metres .
