Given,

Length of rectangular field = 320 m

and it breadth = 245 m.

Width of road = 5 m

Take the first road as 'a'

and second road as 'b'

so,

 According to question

Area of road 'a' which is along with length =

Area = Length × Breadth

Area = 320 × 5

        = 1600

Area of road 'b' which is along with breadth

= 245 × 5

= 1225

Area of the road

= 1600 + 1225 - 5²

= 2825 - 25

= 2800 answer
