A rectangular floor of a room is 16 m long and 12 m wide.
(1) how many tiles of sizes 25 cm *15 cm are needed to cover the floorvof the room.
(2) find also the cost of tiling the floor at 9. 50 per tile

Area of floor= 16*12=192m sq = 1920000cm sq
Area of 1 tile = 25*15 cm = 375cm square
1) No.Of tiles needed = area of floor/area of tile
= 1920000/375
= 5120 tiles

2) Cost of tiling = 5120*9.50 = Rs 48640
