ⓢoLuTiOn :-

Area of the rectangular field is :-
9 \times 6 = 54m {}^{2}

Now , Dimensions of the tiles are :-

40 cm = 0.4 m

10 cm = 0.1 m

so, area of each tile is =
0.4 \times 0.1 = 0.04m {}^{2}

Now , tiles laid =

 \frac{54}{0.04}  = 1350  \: tiles

Hope it helps you
