Solving :

  • 30m = Lenghth

  • 25m = Breadth

  • Path Lenghth = 2.5m

Area of outer triangle

  • Using Formula

 \\ \large \mapsto\sf \:area = length \times breadth \\

⇒ Area = 30m × 25m

 \\ \large \therefore\rm\: \underline{ \underline{area = 750 {m}^{2} }}\\

Dimensions of inner rectangle =

  • Length = 30 - 2.5 = 27.5m

  • Breadth = 25 - 2.5 = 22.5m

Applying same Formula

 \\ \large \mapsto\sf \:area = length \times breadth \\

⇒ Area = 27.5m × 22.5m

 \\ \large \therefore\rm\: \underline{ \underline{area = 618.75 {m}^{2} }}\\

  • Question :

Find the area of path .

Finding area of path :

  • Take area of larger rectangle = a1

  • Take area of smaller rectangle = a2

Area of path =

a1 - a2

⇒ Area = 750 - 618.75

= 131.25

 \\ \large \therefore\rm\: \underline{ \underline{area \: \: of \: \: path= 131.25 {m}^{2} }}\\
