Answer:

Length = 13m 50cm

Breadth = 5m 50cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the width/breadth be x m

then the length = ( x + 8 )

A/q

Perimeter = 38 m

=> 2 ( x + 8 + x ) = 38

=> 2 ( 2x + 8 ) = 38

=> 2×2( x + 4 ) = 38

=> x + 4 = 38/4

=> x + 4 = 19/2

=> x = 19/2 - 4

=> x = ( 19 - 8) / 2

=> x = 11/2

Now,

Breadth = x = 11/2 m

= 5.5 m

= 5 m 50 cm

Length = x + 8 = 5.5 + 8

= 13.5 m

= 13m 50cm

Hence ,

Length = 13m 50cm

Breadth = 5m 50cm
