The total cost of maintaining is ₹14400.

• Given data :

Length of the rectangular garden is 360 metres.

Breadth of the rectangular garden is 3 metres.

Width of the path is 10 metres.

Cost of maintaining is rupees 3 per square metre.

• The length of the garden including the path in two sides is

= {300+(10×2)} metres

= (300+20) metres

= 320 metres

• The width of the garden including the path in two sides is

= {3+(10×2)} metres

= (3+12) metres

= 15 metres

• The area of the garden is

= (320×15) metre²

= 4800 metre²

• The total cost of maintaining :

= ( Total area of the garden × Cost per square metre)

= (4800×3)

= ₹14400

The total cost of maintaining the rectangular garden is ₹14400 (answer).
