Here is your answer:-

Area of rectangular garden = L × B

=> 500 × 400

= 200000

Length of rectangular path = 500 - 5 = 495 m

Breadth of rectangular path= 400 - 5 = 395 m

Area = 395 × 495 = 195525

Area of path = Area of Rectangular garden - Area of rectangular path

=> 200000 - 195525 = 4475m²
