Area of inner part if garden = 52×36 = 1872 m²

Outer part of garden in which length will be (52+2.5+2.5) and breadth will be (36+2.5+2.5)

Then, length = 57 m and Breadth = 41 m

Now, Area of Outer part of garden

=> 57×41 = 2337 m²

Now, Area of Path = 2337-1872 = 465 m²

Then, The cost of gravelling the path at rs 12.50 per square meter = 465×12.50 = 5,812.5 Rs.
