A rectangular garden is adjacent to a house having a wall of length 5 metres on one side and fence on the other three sides whose total length is 12 metres. What is the perimeter of the garden?

therefore, length of other side should be 5

breadth = length of other 3 sides - length of one side / 2

= 12 -5/2
